Jesus payment - Offered by grace, received by faith
Would you like to have Eternal Life?
Did you know that you have a debt to God, your Creator? It is not a financial debt, but a debt incurred through sin. Through our sin, we have all rebelled against God and incurred His just judgement. Because God is holy and perfectly righteous, He cannot ignore sin - it must be paid.
Image: The payment card, JesusPay is an illustration of Jesus' payment on the cross for our sins.
To have eternal life, must your debt to God be fully settled?
Payment for sin
Let's use a modern illustration to better understand the payment of sin: imagine that each person has a debit card that represents their life and their relationship with God. On your card, everything is recorded - every action, every thought, every word. Every time you sin, a debt is added to the card, and the amount is constantly growing.
What currency is your payment card in?
Now imagine that you stand before God and try to pay your debt. You take out your own ‘’payment card‘’ filled with good deeds, morals and endeavours, but when you try to use it, you get a message: ‘’Transaction denied - insufficient currency. Why would God not authorise the payment? Because God accepts only one specific currency: The blood of Jesus Christ.
This is where JesusPay comes in (the word ‘JesusPay’ means ‘Jesus payment’). Jesus paid your debt when He died on the cross. His blood, which He willingly shed for mankind, is the only currency that God accepts to redeem the debt of sin. As Paul writes in Romans 3:25:
“(KJV) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood,..” - Romans 3:25. (KJV)
With JesusPay, you have access to an account with an unlimited balance - not because you have filled it yourself, but because Jesus has already done so. When you accept Him in faith, His payment covers your entire debt, no matter how big it is. Your ‘statement’ will then read: ‘Paid in full - the debt is completely settled.’
The question is,
Which way are you relying on?
Consider which way you choose to rely on to receive forgiveness of sins. Examine the options below to see which path leads you to eternal life.
Choose which of the four options below you think would best describe the path you rely on to get to heaven when you die.

I rely on good deeds
I believe in God and I give money to charity, among other things.
I was baptised in water as a child (confirmed).
Through good deeds I live a good life and do everything I can to do God's will.
I therefore hope that God will give me eternal life.

Other payment methods are not acceptable
There is only one Payment for sin - Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
In our world, there are many different payment methods: credit cards, mobile payments, cash, and so on. But when it comes to the debt of sin, there is only one payment method that is valid: JesusPay. No other ‘currencies’ - whether our good deeds, religious rituals or personal attempts to ‘get better’ - can pay for sin. Trying to pay your debt with your own efforts is like trying to use a currency that God does not accept. No matter how much effort you put in, the transaction will always be denied:
"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." - John 3:18. (KJV)
Imagine you are standing before God with two choices to settle your debt to Him:
Your own debit card: it's filled with your good deeds, your moral life and your efforts. But when you try to use it, the transaction is denied. Why? Well God doesn't accept it, because it lacks the only valid currency - the blood of Jesus. The choice is yours. Do you try to pay your debt to God with your own insufficient currency, or do you accept the only payment that God accepts? As Paul writes in Romans 6:23 and Ephesians 1:7: ‘For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.’ - Romans 6:23 (KJV) - ‘In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;’ - Eph 1:7 (KJV).
JesusPay: A card that is already fully loaded, not with your own performance, but with Jesus' completed payment. When you use this card, the transaction says, ‘Paid in full through Jesus Christ.’ - You are debt free, Amen.
Have you received the reconciliation to God?
If not, now is the time to accept Him and His payment on the cross for your sin. Jesus has already done all that is needed. All you have to do is put your faith in Him and you will be washed clean in the blood of the Lamb (Rev. 1:5).
Eternal security with Jesus payment
When you accept Jesus and His payment for your sin, your debt isn't just partially settled - it's fully paid. On the cross, Jesus said, ‘It is finished’ (John 19:30), which means the debt is completely settled. And because the payment is made by Jesus himself, it can never be taken away from you or lose its validity. Even when we fail or fall into sin after we are saved, Jesus' payment still stands. The Holy Spirit acts as a guarantee that we belong to God and that the payment is valid forever. As Paul writes in Ephesians 1:13-14:
“In whom ye also […] ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession.” - Eph 1:13-14. (KJV)

Consider how you would answer the questions below.
SELECT OPTION
Question 1
Who pays for your sin?
1. You
2. Jesus Christ
Question 2
How do you get saved?
1. Through your own good deeds
2. Only by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
Question 3
How sure are you that you have eternal life and will go to heaven when you die?
Option 2. Because it is Jesus who is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6), not you. You have the right to choose the way of payment but you can NOT pay your debt to God without Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 14:6: "...no one comes to the Father except through me."
Question 2. The correct answer
The correct answer:
Option 2. It was the Lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross for your sins. Your own good deeds mean NOTHING for your salvation. Think about it, if we humans can pay for our own sin by works, then why did Jesus die on the cross?
Question 3. The correct answer
The correct answer:
Option 5. That you can be 100% sure is because it is the Bible that gives this promise of eternal life with God. The Bible says in 1John 5:13 that you shall KNOW that you have eternal life.

Do not wait!
Receive the reconciliation to God today!
The word ‘gospel’ is more than a term; it is a promise of hope and new beginnings. The gospel of Christ is indeed good news, because it offers forgiveness of sins, restores our fellowship with God, and gives us a promise of eternal life. It is this truth that the Apostle Paul shares in First Corinthians 15:1-4, reminding us of the core of our faith - Christ's death, burial, and resurrection.
Read the Gospel: First Corinthians 15:1-4.
1.MOREOVER, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2.By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3.For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4.And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
